Editor's Note: This week we unveiled ads on 90ways.com. Then, in what can only be described as a haunting piece of Internet performance art, our domain was hijacked and our attempts to monetize what had been a purely intellectual endeavor cruelly mocked. For those of you who missed it, behold below the key-word driven, advertising horror that was 90ways.com for 42 hours. Gone was the Internet's ability to make intellectual rigor fun again. Front and center was the crass, ad-drenched flip side of the coin. Fortunately, this cautionary tale had a happy ending. We're back. And we're going to stay heavy on the insight and light on the ads. Here, to help understand the profound impact this performance art had on us, are two haikus:
